BURSA, Turkey (AA) – Turkish police on Monday arrested 25 suspects, including serving soldiers, for their suspected links to Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO), security sources said.

Earlier today, prosecutors in the western Bursa province issued warrants for 50 suspects believed to be involved with a FETO network nested in the Turkish Armed Forces, said a judicial source, speaking on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on speaking to the media.

Police continues operations across 19 provinces to arrest the remains suspects.

FETO and its U.S.-based leader Fetullah Gulen orchestrated the defeated coup of July 15, 2016, which left 251 people martyred and nearly 2,200 injured.

Ankara also accuses FETO of being behind a long-running campaign to overthrow the state through the infiltration of Turkish institutions, particularly the military, police, and judiciary.
