SAKARYA, Turkey (AA) – Some 47 Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) suspects were detained in four cities across Turkey on Tuesday.
In an ongoing investigation conducted by prosecutors of the western city of Sakarya, police in Sakarya, Istanbul, Eskisehir and capital Ankara simultaneously raided the locations of suspects, according to security sources.
In the operation, 47 people were taken into custody for allegedly providing financial support to FETO and carrying out restructuring activities to boost morale within the terror group.
