ISTANBUL (AA) – Turkish football club Fenerbahce on Thursday announced the signing of Czech defender Filip Novak.
The Istanbul club said that Novak signed a three-year contract.
He previously played for another Turkish club Trabzonspor and helped his team clinch the 2020 Ziraat Turkish Cup.
The 30-year-old had said goodbye to Trabzonspor in a message posted on his Instagram account.
"Dear Trabzonspor! You know that from day one until the last match I was fighting for you! But life is about challenges and I have decided to accept a new one. I hope you will understand. Thank you for everything," he said on Thursday.
