Uludag Economy Summit kicks off at Turkish ski resort

By Gokhan Ergocun and Tuba Sahin</p> <p>BURSA, Turkey (AA) – An annual mega-business summit kicked off on Friday at a ski resort in northwestern province of Bursa on Friday. </p> <p>The eighth Uludag Economy Summit will host businesspeople, economists, top officials and academics from Turkey and around the world. </p> <p>Organized by Turkish magazines Capital and Ekonomist since 2012, the two-day summit will focus on industry, trade, manufacturing, finance, energy, agriculture and technology.</p> <p>The chairpersons and representatives of global companies including Facebook, Google, P&amp;G, Vodafone and Ernst &amp; Young from countries such as the U.S., Canada, Sweden, Switzerland, Jordan, Nigeria, the U.K., South Korea, the Netherlands, and China will be attending the summit.</p> <p>A start-up event called &quot;Stars of the Region&quot; will also be held to showcase investment opportunities for entrepreneurs.
