ISTANBUL (AA) – Turkey's benchmark stock index decreased 1.03% to 115,314.98 points in the closing session of Wednesday.
After starting the day at 117,168.08 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index lost 1,209.81 points from Tuesday's close of 116,524.78 points.
The price of one ounce of gold was $1,777.90 by market close, up from $1,770 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was around $41.60 per barrel as of 6 p.m. (1500GMT) on Wednesday.
