ISTANBUL (AA) – Turkey's benchmark stock index closed the day at 103,876.56 points on Tuesday, dropping 1.10% from the previous close.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index started the day at 105,274.97 points. As of daily close, it lost 1,156.46 points from Monday's close of 105,033.02 points.
The price of one ounce of gold was around $1,463.70 by market close, down from $1,488.00 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was around $59.60 per barrel as of 6 p.m. (1500GMT) on Tuesday.
