ISTANBUL (AA) – A prosecutor in Istanbul issued Wednesday arrest warrants to apprehend 360 suspected members of the FETO terrorist group.

A substantial part of the suspects were believed to be involved with a FETO network nested in the Turkish Armed Forces, a judicial source said.

The terror group and its U.S.-based leader Fetullah Gulen orchestrated the defeated coup of July 15, 2016, which martyred 250 people and injured nearly 2,200 others.

Ankara also accuses FETO of being behind a long-running campaign to overthrow the state through the infiltration of Turkish institutions, particularly the military, police and judiciary.
