ANTALYA, Turkey (AA) – Eurasia is one of the globe's primary points of attraction, Turkey's parliament speaker said on Monday.
“The vast Eurasian geography, from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean, is one of the political, economic and cultural centers of the world,” Binali Yildirim told the Third Eurasian Parliament Speakers Meeting in Antalya, a resort city on the Turkish Mediterranean.
The meeting brings together 39 parliament speakers representing some 3 billion of the world’s population.
“Here, we have achieved the virtue of coming together as states with different political and economic systems, ” added Yildirim.
“This association, which represents humanity’s common richness, will provide tremendous benefits to our region and to the whole world for years to come.”
