Sudan to reopen border with Eritrea: President Bashir

KHARTOUM (AA) – Sudan’s President Omar al-Bashir on Thursday announced that his government was reopening the country’s eastern border with Eritrea, state-run television reported.</p> <p>The announcement came during al-Bashir’s address of his supporters in the eastern Sudan city of Kassala.</p> <p>Describing the ties between the two countries as “relations of history, geography and blood”, Sudanese president thanked Eritrea.
