Senior Daesh suspect nabbed in western Turkey

By Ugur Ulu</p> <p>BURSA, Turkey (AA) – A Syrian suspect believed to be the so-called emir of the Daesh terror group was arrested in Turkey's western Bursa province, security sources said on Wednesday. </p> <p>The suspect, identified by the initials I.T., was nabbed in an apartment building in Yildirim district of Bursa during a police raid, said the sources who asked not to be named, due to restrictions on speaking to the media.</p> <p>Reportedly commanding a large number of Daesh terrorists operating in the Syrian towns of Aleppo and Deir ez-Zor, sources cite numerous photos exposing the suspect within the terror group. </p> <p>More than 300 people have lost their lives in Daesh-claimed attacks in Turkey, where the terror organization has targeted civilians in suicide bombs, rocket and gun attacks.</p> <p>Turkish security forces have been involved in a long-running campaign to thwart Daesh activities.
