ISTANBUL (AA) – Turkish international Kenan Karaman scored Fortuna Dusseldorf's sole goal Sunday as the team drew 1-1 with Mainz 05 in the German Bundesliga.
In week 25 in the German top-tier football league, German-Turkish midfielder Levin Mete Oztunali scored the opening goal for Mainz 05 in the 62nd minute.
Fortuna Dusseldorf's goal came from Karaman in the 85th minute. It was his fourth goal this season in the Bundesliga.
Fortuna Dusseldorf are now in 16th place with 22 points while Mainz 05 are in 15th spot with 26 points.
Bayern Munich beat Augsburg 2-0 at home on Sunday to maintain their four-point lead in the German football league.
Bayern are at the top of the Bundesliga with 55 points, having won 10 of their last 11 matches.
Borussia Dortmund kept their Bundesliga title hopes alive after beating Borussia Monchengladbach 2-1 in an away game Saturday.
They are in second place with 51 points, four points behind the top spot.
RB Leipzig, after drawing goalless with Wolfsburg, are now in third place with 50 points.
