By Yusuf Ozcan</p> <p>PARIS (AA) – A new refugee shelter will be opened for irregular migrants living on the streets of Paris, said governor of northern Ile-de-France, the region which contains the capital.</p> <p>The center will have a capacity of 100 people, Michel Cadot said in a statement on Wednesday.</p> <p>However, Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo said the measure would not be enough considering much higher number of irregular migrants living in the capital.</p> <p>The authorities have carried out dozens of evacuation operations in Paris and placed migrants in temporary shelter centers. </p> <p>Thousands of irregular migrants continue their lives in barracks and makeshift tents in Paris.</p> <p> <p>* Writing by Beyza Binnur Donmez
