DIYARBAKIR, Turkey (AA) –Turkey’s southeastern province of Diyarbakir was shaken by an explosion late Thursday night, according to local security sources.
The blast happened in the central Sur district’s Sarikamis neighborhood, the sources said, speaking on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on speaking to the media.
Police suspect the blast happened as an explosive was being prepared.
There are no reports of casualties yet, but ambulances have been dispatched to the scene.
