Erdogan to visit Pakistan after local elections: Envoy

<p>By Islamuddin Sajid</p> <p>ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (AA) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Islamabad after March 31 local elections in his country, said the Turkish ambassador to Pakistan on Monday. </p> <p>Talking to local journalists at Pak-Turk Maarif International Schools and Colleges Islamabad, Mustafa Yurdakul said during the recent Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to Turkey, both sides agreed to establish Strategic Economic Framework to boost bilateral and economic relations between two countries. </p> <p>The Strategic Economic Framework will be finalized before Erdogan's visit to Islamabad, he added.</p> <p>Responding to a question regarding the current tension between Pakistan and India, Yurdakul said all outstanding issues between both neighbors need to be resolved through dialogue.</p> <p>The issue of Kashmir needed to be resolved through dialogue and in accordance with the relevant UN Security Council resolutions, he added.</p> <p>Earlier, the ambassador participated in a grand award distribution ceremony arranged by Pak-Turk Maarif foundation for school students. </p> <p>He distributed prize among the students who obtained top positions in the national mathematical olympiad.</p> <p><br></p>
