Akhisarspor advance to Turkish Cup final

By Ahmet Bayram</p> <p>MANISA, Turkey (AA) – Akhisarspor shut out Umraniyespor on Wednesday to reach the finals in the Turkish Cup. </p> <p>The teams played the first leg April 3 to the same 1-0 score. </p> <p>Galatasaray and Yeni Malatyaspor drew to a scoreless result in early April their Turkish Cup semifinals match.</p> <p>The Lions missed an opportunity to take an advantage during the match in Istanbul.</p> <p>Yeni Malatyaspor and Galatasaray will play for the second spot in the finals April 25.</p> <p>The final will be played in central Sivas province May 16.</p> <p>The last Turkish Cup winners in 2018, Akhisar, eliminated Kasimpasa while Evkur Yeni Malatyaspor knocked out Goztepe in quarterfinal matches.</p> <p>* Writing by Faruk Zorlu
