WASHINGTON (AA) – The U.S. and Russia on Friday announced a cease-fire in Syria, U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson told reporters in a news briefing. Friday
The agreement came after President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin met for the first time at the G20 summit in Germany.
Tillerson said the deal was the first indication the two countries would be able to work together in Syria.
