UPDATE – Qatari emir receives Turkish interior minister in Doha

UPDATES HEADLINE, LEDE</p> <p>By Ahmed Youssef </p> <p>DOHA (AA) – Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Thursday received Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu in Doha, the Qatari News Agency (QNA) has reported.</p> <p>Earlier Thursday, Soylu attended a graduation ceremony for police cadets at Doha’s Qatari Police College.</p> <p>The ceremony was also attended by the Qatari emir and Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani.</p> <p>Jordanian Interior Minister Ibrahim al-Mubaidain was also present at the ceremony, which saw the graduation of more than 100 police cadets from Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan, Palestine and Yemen.</p> <p>After the ceremony, graduates performed a parade outside the college headquarters.</p> <p>Soylu arrived in Doha earlier Thursday for a one-day visit. While in Qatar, he is expected to meet with a number of Qatari officials.
