UPDATE – 6-story building collapses in Turkey's Istanbul

UPDATES WITH MORE INFORMATION</p> <p>By Ali Cevahir Akturk and Zeynep Rakipoglu</p> <p>ISTANBUL (AA) – A six-story building in the Kartal district of Istanbul has collapsed on Wednesday.</p> <p>Scores of firefighters, police officials, medical personnel as well as national Disaster and Emergency Management (AFAD) teams are currently at the scene for rescue mission. </p> <p>Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya is on his way to Cevizli neighborhood of Kartal to reach the scene, officials said.</p> <p>The building, comprised of 12 apartments, had residents inside when it collapsed, according to eye witnesses.</p> <p>More to follow …
