UPDATES WITH DEATH TOLL TO 4 MARTYRED

DIYARBAKIR, Turkey (AA) – Four police officers were martyred and two others injured in a terror attack in southeastern Turkey’s Diyarbakir province on Monday, according to a police source.
A bomb planted by PKK terrorists targeted a police vehicle when it was near an excavation site at the Dicle University campus in Sur district, the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on speaking to media, said.
The injured were rushed to the nearby Dicle University Hospital.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident, the source added.
