LONDON (AA) – Fire and emergency services are attending a helicopter crash in North Yorkshire, England, local police said on Wednesday afternoon.
A helicopter has crashed “near the village of Aldborough near Boroughbridge, ” in Midlands shortly after 13:00 P.M. (14:00 GMT), police said in a statement.
“Police received the report at 1.23 p.m. today, ” it said.
The statement said “it is too early to provide details of any casualties at this stage. ”
“Crews from Boroughbridge, Knaresborough, Harrogate & Ripon on route to Aldborough area for reports of a light aircraft believed to have come down in a field, ” another statement from North Yorkshire Fire Department said.
