Turkish young archer Mete Gazoz breaks world record

By Fatih Erel</p> <p>ISTANBUL (AA) – Turkish archer Mete Gazoz broke world record in junior category and European record in senior category on Wednesday at an international archery tournament.</p> <p>At European Grand Prix in Romanian capital Bucharest, the 19-year-old Gazoz scored 698 points to lead the recurve men’s qualification.</p> <p>With this result, Gazoz broke world record in youth category and European record in senior category.
