Turkish vice president to visit Equatorial Guinea

ANKARA (AA) – Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay will pay an official visit to Equatorial Guinea on Friday on the country’s 50th anniversary of the Independence Day.

According to sources from the Vice Presidential Office, Oktay will meet Equatorial Guinea's President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasago during his stay in the central African nation.

During the visit, Oktay is also expected to have meetings with his counterpart and other officials of Equatorial Guinea.

Regional issues and deals made between the two countries during the 2014 visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Malabo will be discussed.

Oktay will also meet Turkish citizens and Turkish investors residing in Equatorial Guinea.
