Turkish students volunteer in Mozambique

ABUJA (AA) – A group of Turkish students have arrived in Mozambique for volunteer work.

The arrival of 14 student volunteers are part of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA)'s “2018 Experience Sharing Program. ”

Students will work on photography training with Mozambican students of the faculty of business and communications in the Eduardo Mondlane University of Mozambique,

The program is expected to promote Mozambique's natural and cultural beauty through the art of photography.

Mozambican non-government organizations will also join the Turkish students to further bridge gap between the two countries.

By the end of the program, a professional camera will be granted to the faculty and the students will host an exhibition of photographs.

TIKA, Turkish Airlines, Anadolu Agency and Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) have jointly organized the “2018 Experience Sharing Program “.

The program covers various countries of the world such as Niger, Albania, Bosnia Herzegovina, Burkina Faso, Algeria, Djibouti, Chad, Morocco, Ghana, Georgia, Cameroon, Montenegro, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Colombia, Lebanon, Macedonia, Mozambique, Namibia, Uzbekistan, Romania, Senegal, Serbia, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania, Tunisia, Jordan, Moldova and South Africa.
