ANKARA (AA) – Turkey's benchmark stock index ended Thursday up 0.48% to close at 102,648.93 points.
Starting the day at 102,418.14 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index rose 491.40 points from 102,157.53 points at the midweek close.
The price of one ounce of gold was $1,735.00 by market close, down from $1,743.00 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent oil was $36.51 per barrel as of 6 p.m. local time (1500GMT) on Thursday, with a day range of $35.75 to $36.98.
At the beginning of 2020, a barrel of Brent oil sold for around $58.
