ANKARA (AA) – Turkey's benchmark stock index ended the midweek trading down 5.67 percent to close at 91,855.14 points on Wednesday.
After starting the day at 97,820.68 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index fell 5,523.44 points from the previous close.
One ounce of gold was sold for $1,318.30 at the daily close in Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets, versus $1,316.00 at the close on Tuesday.
With a day range of $67.11 to $67.71, the price of Brent oil was around $67.50 per barrel as of 6 p.m. local time (1500GMT) on Wednesday.
At the beginning of 2019, the price of Brent oil was around $53 per barrel.
