ANKARA (AA) – Turkey's benchmark stock index ended Monday down 0.82% to close at 95,191.67 points.
After starting the week at 95,760.29 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index dropped 785.15 points from Friday's close of 95,976.82 points.
One ounce of gold was sold for $1,287.00 at the daily close in Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets versus the previous close of $1,293.00.
A barrel of Brent oil was sold for $71.28 as of 6 p.m. local time (1500GMT) on Monday — with a day range of $70.79 to $71.57.
At the beginning of 2019, the price of Brent oil was around $53 per barrel.
