ANKARA (AA) – A Turkish soldier succumbed to his wounds on Tuesday from a gun accident in the capital Ankara, Turkey's National Defense Ministry announced Tuesday.
The soldier was seriously wounded in a gun accident that took place in Sereflikochisar district on Dec. 28, the ministry said in a statement.
Despite doctors' best efforts, he lost his life in the hospital, it added.
The ministry extended condolences to the family of the martyred soldier.
