Turkish premier set to visit Mongolia

ANKARA (AA) – Turkey’s Prime Minister Binali Yildirim will pay a three-day official visit to Mongolia on Thursday, the Prime Ministry announced on Wednesday.

Yildirim will meet his Mongolian counterpart Ukhnaa Khurelsukh as well as Mongolia’s President Khaltmaa Battulga and Parliament Speaker Miyegombo Enkhbold, said the statement issued by the Prime Ministry.

Bilateral and regional issues will be addressed during the meetings.

Yildirim will also attend the inauguration ceremony of projects carried out by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) in the Asian country.

The premier will also meet Turkish and Mongolian businesspeople and media representatives, besides visiting the old Turkish inscriptions in the country, the statement added.

The visit will end on April 8.
