Kahraman and Mongolian Parliament Speaker Miyegombyn Enkhbold signed a cooperation agreement between the two parliaments that define “the action plan for 2018-2020”.

“I think the friendship and unity between Turkey and Mongolia will contribute to world peace, ” said Kahraman.

During his remarks, Enkhbold recalled that they would soon celebrate the 50th anniversary of the beginning of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

“This is a historical visit that will accelerate the relations between the two countries, ” he said.

Meanwhile, Turkish Labor and Social Security Minister Julide Sarieroglu and her Mongolian counterpart Chinzori Sodnom signed a Turkey-Mongolia social security agreement.

According to the agreement, the social security rights of the two countries' citizens will be guaranteed on a basis of reciprocity.

Following the ceremonies, Kahraman showed Enkhbold the sections of the Turkish parliament that had been bombed during the defeated coup of July 15, 2016.
