Turkish jets destroy PKK targets in N.Iraq

By Muhammed Ali Toruntay </p> <p>ANKARA (AA) – Turkish airstrikes on Monday destroyed ammunition depots and shelters of the terrorist PKK in northern Iraq, officials announced. </p> <p>The strikes were aimed at terrorist PKK targets in the Zap and Gara regions, said a National Defense Ministry statement.</p> <p>In its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK — listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and the EU — has been responsible for the deaths of some 40,000 people, including women and children. </p> <p> </p> <p>
