ADANA (AA) – Turkey's exports in October reached the highest monthly figure of the country's history, Turkish trade minister said on Thursday.
The country's exports in October rose 13.1 percent year-on-year to reach $15.7 billion, Ruhsar Pekcan said at a meeting where she revealed preliminary Trade Ministry data in the southern province of Adana.
Imports of Turkey went down by 23.5 pct to $16.2 billion in October, Pekcan said.
She added that the country exported mostly to Germany, the U.K. and Italy.
