ANKARA (AA) – Turkey's state-run international cooperation agency has donated a van for the transport of disabled school children in Uruguay, the agency said Monday.

Enrique Singler, the chairman of Escuela Roosevelt in the capital Montevideo, said the donation by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency has met a dire need for the school, which is Uruguay's sole fully equipped educational institution for disabled children.

“I would like to thank President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Turkish people, ” Singler said.
