ISTANBUL (AA) – Former basketball player and commentator Ismet Badem died Thursday in a traffic accident in northwestern Turkey.
Badem, 72, lost the control of his motorcycle in the city of Canakkale.
In his basketball career, he played in Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Samsunspor. When his playing days were finished, he become a commentator and article writer.
