Turkish aid agency supports education in Croatia

ANKARA (AA) – Turkey's state-run aid agency has renewed a public education center and provided equipment for its students in Croatia.

According to a statement by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), an education center that was severely damaged during the war has been renewed and its library equipped with computers.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Turkey’s ambassador in Zagreb Mustafa Babur Hizlan said TIKA has been working in Croatia for three years.

Mayor of Slujn Jure Katic, on his part, thanked TIKA for their support.

TIKA has carried out 44 projects in three years in Croatia, said country coordinator Hasim Koc.
