Turkey’s presidential spokesman visits Morocco

By Burcu Calıik</p> <p>ANKARA (AA) – Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin arrived in Rabat on Friday for an official visit to Morocco.</p> <p>Kalin conveyed a letter from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the North African country’s king, Mohammed VI.</p> <p>He also met with Moroccan Prime Minister Saadeddine Othmani and Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita to discuss expansion of trade, investment and diplomatic ties as well as an increase in high-level visits.</p> <p>The sides agreed to cooperate in the fight against the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) and on the activation of the high-level strategic cooperation council established between the two countries in 2013.</p> <p>They underlined that cooperation must continue under the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to uphold the status of Jerusalem.
