Turkey's int'l students help Syrians in Ankara

By Muhammet Ikbal Arslan</p> <p>ANKARA (AA) – International students who receive scholarships to pursue education in Turkey Thursday provided aid for Syrian families in the capital of host country.</p> <p>Students under Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) provided clothes, toys and financial aid to Syrian families living in the capital Ankara.</p> <p>“It is pleasing to have such widespread cooperation activities in Turkey,” Zakaria Hassan, a Somalian law student in Turkey’s Baskent University, told Anadolu Agency.</p> <p>Walaa Aldeges, a Jordanian student studying physical therapy in Yildirim Beyazit University, said: “It's a very nice feeling to help others and make them happy.”</p> <p>Established in 2010, the YTB is responsible for coordinating the activities of Turks living abroad and developing relations through economic, social and cultural activities.
