ADANA, Turkey (AA) – Turkish prosecutors issued arrest warrants Wednesday for 74 suspects for alleged links to an organized crime group, said a security source.

Prosecutors in southeastern Adana province issued the warrants for the suspects on charges of bribery, murder, collection of checks and bonds and PKK propaganda, said the source, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on speaking to the media.

Police raids were launched simultaneously at 87 addresses in Adana, Konya, Mersin, Mardin and Izmir provinces to apprehend the suspects, the source added.

Many suspects, including a warden and a police officer, were arrested.
