Turkey: Several injured in high-speed train crash

ANKARA (AA) – Multiple people were injured when a high-speed train crashed into an overpass in the Turkish capital early Thursday.

According to initial reports, part of an overpass collapsed onto some of the cars of a high-speed passenger train that crashed in Ankara, derailing two coaches.

The train was en route to Konya in central Turkey.

Rescue work is still ongoing. Some of the injured were taken to hospital.
