Turkey sends condolences over N. Macedonia bus accident

<p>By Handan Kazanci</p> <p>ISTANBUL (AA) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Thursday extended his condolences to North Macedonia over Wednesday's deadly bus accident.</p> <p>In a statement, Erdogan said: “It was with great sadness that I learned 13 people were killed and 30 people were injured in a traffic accident in North Macedonia.”</p> <p>“I offer my sympathies to the families of those who lost their lives, wish a speedy recovery to the injured, and extend my condolences to the brotherly people of North Macedonia,” the president added. </p> <p>On late Wednesday, the passenger bus overturned on a highway linking the capital Skopje with the town of Tetovo killing at least 13 and injuring 30 others.</p> <p>Earlier on Thursday, Turkish Foreign Ministry also sympathized with North Macedonia over the accident.</p> <p>It expressed condolences to the families of people died and wish speedy recovery to those injured.</p><br> <br><br><br>
