ANKARA (AA) – The Foreign Ministry late on Sunday condemned terror attacks in Afghanistan that left many police officers dead.
In a written statement, the ministry said: “We learned with sorrow that various attacks resulted in loss of lives of many police officers and left many others wounded in Kunduz, Zabul, and Ghazni provinces of Afghanistan. ”
“We condemn these terrorist attacks, wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives, speedy recovery to the wounded, and convey our condolences to the brotherly Government and people of Afghanistan, ” the statement added.
On Sunday militants stormed a number of check posts in Afghanistan and the Taliban have claimed responsibility for the attacks.
