ISTANBUL (AA) – World Taekwondo Federation's President Chungwon Choue praised Turkey for being among the top 5 countries in the Korean martial art.
The 2019 World Para Taekwondo Championships were held in Antalya, Turkey from Feb. 5-6 with 396 players from 58 countries.
“Turkey is one of the most important members of our federation. Turkey is one of the five strongest countries in Taekwondo, ” Choue told Anadolu Agency on Wednesday following the championships.
The World Taekwondo Championships may be held in Turkey after 2021, he added.
