IZMIR/BURSA, Turkey (AA) – Four PKK/KCK suspects were arrested in western Izmir and northwestern Bursa provinces during counter-terror raids, security sources said Saturday.
Two suspects were arrested in Izmir for insulting President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and spreading terror propaganda on social media, the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office said.

Separately in Bursa, two suspects were arrested for propaganda linked to the PKK, the city's gendarmerie office said in a statement. The PKK — recognized as a terrorist group by the U.S., the EU, and Turkey — is responsible for the deaths of more than 1,200 Turkish security personnel and civilians, including women and children, since July 2015.
