ANKARA (AA) – At least two suspects were arrested during anti-narcotics operations in Turkey, according to security sources on Monday.

In Istanbul, local gendarmerie units apprehended two suspects and seized 15 kilograms (33 pounds) of heroin during raids targeting drug traffickers across the city, said one of the sources, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on talking to the media.

In the eastern Bingol province's Genc district, 10 kilograms (22 pounds) of hashish were confiscated in a sniffer dog-supported raid.
