By Saif al-Din bin Mahjoub</p> <p>TUNIS (AA) – Tunisia will hold parliamentary polls on Oct. 6 of this year, to be followed by presidential elections on Nov. 10, according to the country’s official election commission.</p> <p>Commission head Nabil Baffoun made the announcement at a Wednesday press conference in capital Algiers.</p> <p>Tunisia is seen as the only Arab country whose democratic transition successfully weathered the “Arab Spring” uprisings, which shook the Middle East and North Africa in 2011.
