ANKARA (AA) – Trabzonspor defeated Konyaspor 1-0 with Norwegian forward Alexander Sorloth's goal on Monday in the Turkish Super Lig.
At Konya Buyuksehir Stadium, Trabzonspor managed to get the win, thanks to a goal by Sorloth in the 38th minute.
In another match on Monday, Aytemiz Alanyaspor hammered Yukatel Denizlispor 5-1 at Denizli Ataturk Stadium, with goals by Welinton Silva (2), Djalma Campos, Papiss Cisse and Onur Bulut.
Yukatel Denizlispor's consolation goal came from Colombian forward Oscar Estupinan.
Alanyaspor moved up to the sixth spot with 26 points while Yukatel Denizlispor slipped to the 11th spot with 21 points.
Having 34 points, Demir Grup Sivasspor have guaranteed to finish 2019 at the top of the table in the Turkish Super Lig.
Medipol Basaksehir are currently in the second spot as they have 30 points, followed by Trabzonspor with 29 points.
Fenerbahce collected 28 points, placing them in fourth place after they beat Besiktas 3-1 in an Istanbul derby match on Sunday.
