Top Turkish, Iraqi diplomats discuss counter terrorism

<p>By Diyar Guldogan</p> <p>ANKARA (AA) – Turkey’s foreign minister and his visiting Iraqi counterpart on Thursday discussed the fight against terrorism.</p> <p>&quot;Discussed w/my brother Mohammad Ali Alhakeem, Minister of Foreign Affairs of #Iraq, issues in our agenda, including the fight against terrorism and the reconstruction of Iraq,&quot; Mevlut Cavusoglu tweeted. </p> <p>The meeting came amid Iraqi President Barham Salih's visit to the Turkish capital Ankara.</p> <p>Salih and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed bilateral relations and possible steps for strengthening cooperation in several areas, as well as regional and international issues.</p>
