NINEVEH, Iraq (AA) – Four people were killed in a Daesh suicide bombing in Mosul’s Old City on Monday, according to an anti-terrorism officer.

A Tunisian woman detonated an explosive belt among refugees in Al-Shaareen market neighborhood in western Mosul, Capt. Saad al-Jaafari told Anadolu Agency.

He said nine people, including two anti-terrorism officers, were injured in the attack.

Iraqi forces, backed by a U.S.-led air coalition, have been battling since last October to dislodge Daesh from the northern city, which they have occupied since June 2014.
