By Dildar Baykan</p> <p>NEW YORK (AA) – Shooting at a synagogue in San Diego, U.S. left multiple people injured, security sources said Saturday. </p> <p>One person was detained following the shooting at Chabad of Poway synagogue on the last day of the Jewish Passover, San Diego Police Department said in its twitter account.</p> <p>“We are assisting @SDSheriff with shooting incident at the Chabad of Poway synagogue. One person has been detained. No known threats however in an abundance of caution, we will be providing extra patrol at places of worship,” San Diego Police Department said.</p> <p>Passover, which commemorates the Israelites’ flight from Egypt during the time of Prophet Moses, is considered one of the most important holidays on the Jewish calendar. </p> <p>This year, Passover began on the evening of April 19 and will end on the evening of April 27.
