Russia wants good relations with Turkey: Putin

MOSCOW (AA) – Russia is interested in developing good relations with Turkey, Russian President Vladimir Putin says in a new documentary.

“Turkey is a big country, our neighbor. We had different relations for centuries. We are interested, we are objectively interested in good relations with Turkey, ” Putin says in an interview with anchorman Vladimir Solovyov in the documentary “World Order 2018 “.

Istanbul is set to host a trilateral meeting of Russian, Turkish and Iranian presidents in April, mainly dealing with the Syrian issue.

In the documentary, Putin expresses concern about a possible U.S. nuclear attack, mentioning that it is the only country to ever use nuclear weapons in combat.

Putin also says that the development of multi-centric world model is a natural process and will be better for the world.
