MOSCOW (AA) – The Russian Foreign Ministry announced Tuesday that it has expelled the Romanian military attache Cristian Istrate in a retaliatory move.
It said the decision was taken in response to Romania’s move last month to declare an aide to the military attache at the Russian Embassy in Bucharest persona non grata.
The ministry said Istrate has to leave the country within 72 hours.
